Our spring LOCAL Garden trip was a great success. Though our classroom sunflower seedlings met their demise over a scorching weekend, garden leaders supplied us with new plants and helped us prepare a garden bed.

The Smiles Say It All
It has been a fabulous year in first grade. I hope everyone has a great summer.
In our new writing unit, students will be writing reviews. Our first step was judging which item in our collection was the best and explaining why. Above you see students lining up their items in order of preference and doing a walk around to look at other collections.
